The Kooru cold plunge is handcrafted in San Diego from hand-selected redwood. It arrives fully assembled and runs from a standard 110V outlet. Each tub is finished with shou sugi ban, the Japanese method of charring wood to protect it, which brings out the color in the grain and weatherproofs the outside without chemical treatment.
Built-in chiller and ozone
The chiller is built into the tub instead of sitting next to it as a separate box, so it holds your set temperature without extra plumbing or floor space. Water is sanitized with ozone instead of chlorine, so there is no chemical smell and no residue on your skin.

Before you order
Allow at least 33" of clearance through doorways and passages. Two people can move it by the corner posts, or you can use trolleys. Production takes about 2 weeks, plus shipping. Because each tub is built by hand, dimensions can vary by up to 1/4".
