How the Absolute Zero setup works

  • Chiller: steel-encased, 0.8HP, GMCC compressor. Starting from 70°F water it drops the temperature by up to 8°F per hour, to a low of 37°F. Offered in a Standard and a Pro version.
  • Adapter: 8-gauge black anodized aluminum with steel faucets. It adjusts up to 7 inches to fit bathtubs, stock tanks and DIY plunges, and connects the tub to the chiller.

Warranty and returns

Both carry a 1-year manufacturer warranty. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery if unused and in the original condition and packaging, and you pay half of the return shipping. Report shipping damage or defects within 7 days of delivery, with photos, for a free replacement.

Starting from 70°F water, it drops the temperature by up to 8°F per hour, down to a low of 37°F. Actual time depends on water volume, insulation and room temperature.

What is the difference between Standard and Pro?

Absolute Zero offers the chiller in a Standard and a Pro version but has not published a side-by-side comparison for this model. Contact us before choosing the Pro and we will confirm the differences with the maker.
