NovaaLab Red Light Pads Compared: Which One to Buy
Share
NovaaLab sells five main wearable light pads, and the right one depends on where you want to use it. The Light Pad is the flexible all-rounder, the Back Pad is cordless for the lower back, the Deep Healing Pad XL covers the largest area, and the Knee Ultra and Light Boot are shaped for the knee and foot.
Restore Suite is an authorized NovaaLab partner, so we sell every device below. You can see them all in our NovaaLab collection or in the wider red light therapy pads and wraps. The numbers here come straight from each product page, and the devices are for comfort, recovery and routine, not treatment.

Which pad is the best all-rounder?
The Light Pad. It is NovaaLab's most versatile device: a flexible wrap that goes around the back, shoulders, neck or knees. It lists up to 120 mW/cm² at contact, a remote with adjustable intensity and a 20 minute auto shut-off. It runs from a wall adapter, and you can go cordless by adding the Novaa Battery Pack or a 5V/2A USB power bank of 20,000mAh or more. If you want one device for several spots, start here.
Which pad suits the lower back?
The Back Pad. Its 50.9 inch strap holds it in place, so you can sit, stand or move during a 15 to 20 minute session. The battery remote runs about five sessions per charge, and it adds eight vibration points with three pulse modes. It is the one to pick if you do not want to be tied to an outlet.
Which pad covers the most area?
The Deep Healing Pad XL. Its 1,200 LEDs sit across a 19.7 x 23.6 inch surface, enough to cover the whole back, both legs or the shoulders in one session instead of moving a small pad around. The trade-off is that it plugs into the wall, and it costs the most of the five. Sessions are listed at 10 to 20 minutes.
What about the knee and foot?
The Knee Ultra wraps 96 LEDs around the front, back and sides of the knee, with static and pulse modes and about two hours per battery charge. The Light Boot wraps 170 LEDs around the whole foot and ankle and runs a 20 minute session from a power cable. If you want both feet at once, the Double Light Boot Bundle pairs two boots at $738. These are shaped for the area, which a flat pad cannot match, but they only do that one job.
How do power and session length change the choice?
Power matters more than it looks. The plug-in models, the Deep Healing Pad XL and the Light Boot, work best where you can sit near an outlet, such as a desk, a couch or a bed. The cordless Back Pad and Knee Ultra suit people who like to move around during a session or want to use them in a garage gym. Session length is also built into the devices: the Light Pad and Light Boot list 20 minutes, the Back Pad 15 to 20 and the XL 10 to 20, so a routine of one device after a workout and one in the evening is easy to plan. Always follow the times in the manual rather than guessing.
Is a bundle better value?
If you already know you want more than one, check the bundles. The Mobility and Recovery Bundle combines the Back Pad, Knee Ultra and Light Boot for $1,008.80. The Starter Bundle adds the Light Pad, Back Pad, Knee Ultra and Glow Therapy Mask for $1,239.60. Compare the bundle price with the sum of the single devices before you decide.
How do these compare with a panel?
A pad touches the body and moves with you. A panel sits at a distance and covers a bigger surface. Our guide to red light therapy pads versus back wraps explains the contact approach, and 660nm versus 850nm explains what the two wavelengths listed here mean.
