How to choose a Maxxus sauna

  • Size and shape: the S-Line comes in 1, 2 and 3-person sizes. The MX-K356 and MX-M356 are corner saunas that tuck into a room corner, and the MX-K406 seats 4. Measure the space and door swing, and use the sauna size calculator.
  • Heat: K-series and most named models are far infrared. The M-series (MX-M206, MX-M306, MX-M356) and the S-Line 3-person are full spectrum, adding near infrared elements. The Serenity and Trinity are low EMF.
  • Wood: the MX-K306 and the M-series are Canadian red cedar; most others are Canadian hemlock, and the S-Line 3-person is Pacific cedar.
  • Power: 2-person and smaller models plug into a dedicated 120V/15A outlet. 3 and 4-person models need a dedicated 120V/20A receptacle. Read the sauna electrical requirements guide.

Maxxus, Dynamic or Golden Designs?

All three are made by Golden Designs. Maxxus is the pick for red cedar and corner full spectrum layouts. Dynamic has more 1 and 2-person models and ultra low EMF options. Golden Designs covers the Reserve Edition line plus outdoor, traditional and hybrid saunas. Add a Dynamic Cold Therapy plunge for contrast therapy.

Warranty, delivery and returns

Warranty: a Golden Designs limited warranty of 5 years. Register the sauna with Golden Designs after delivery, and keep your order number. Details are on each product page.

Delivery: free curbside freight within the contiguous U.S. The carrier calls to schedule an appointment, and we confirm your address and phone before we place the order. Inspect the cartons on delivery and refuse anything damaged.

Returns: request a return within 30 days of delivery for an unused, unassembled sauna in its original packaging. Approved returns carry a 20% restocking fee, and you pay freight both ways. Orders can be canceled free within 24 hours. See our refund policy.
