Description
The Barton is a complete cold plunge made in Minnesota: a heavily insulated rotomolded tub with the chiller, pump, filtration and ozone sanitation built into a covered equipment housing. It plugs into a standard 120V outlet and cools as low as 39°F, with no ice and no exposed equipment.

Built for daily use
The rotomolded shell and closed-cell foam insulation hold the cold, so the 1/2 HP chiller runs less to keep your set temperature. The equipment and plumbing sit inside a ventilated housing at one end, which keeps the outside clean and quiet and makes every part serviceable.
Clean water
A 1,200 GPH pump pushes water through a deep-pleated 50-micron Cryopure filter, and a 100 mg/hr ozone generator helps keep it clear between changes. Two filters come in the box. Cryospring recommends switching the ozone off at least 2 hours before you open the lid.
Indoor or outdoor
Limestone White is approved for full sun. Obsidian Black is for indoor use or full shade only. Outdoors, Cryospring recommends a covered, shaded spot. Leave about 12" behind the tub and 8" on each side for airflow, and keep it about 5 ft from other electrical devices. The floor must support at least 1,500 lb plus the people using it.

Delivery
Large items such as saunas, hot tubs and cold plunge tubs usually ship by freight. The carrier contacts you to schedule delivery. Please check the packaging and note any damage on the delivery receipt before you sign, then tell us within 48 hours so we can resolve it for you.
Before delivery day, measure doorways and hallways along the path to the install spot, and confirm the electrical requirement on the Specifications tab.

- It plugs into a standard 120V household outlet and draws up to 620W (6.9A). Plan the spot so the GFCI cord reaches the outlet.
- Filled with 150 gallons it weighs well over 1,000 lb (water alone is about 1,250 lb). Indoors, check that the floor can carry it; outdoors, set it on a level pad.
- Obsidian Black is for indoor use or full shade only. Choose Limestone White for a sunny spot.
- It arrives by curbside freight at about 285 lb, so plan for help or a dolly to move it into place.
