The Harvia KIP is a UL certified electric sauna heater for small to medium sauna rooms, supplied with the Xenio CX170 digital control panel, a WiFi module and sauna stones. It is made in Finland with a stainless steel casing.
Temperature and timer are set from the Xenio CX170 panel, which mounts outside the sauna room. The WiFi module adds control from the MyHarvia phone app, so the room can be brought up to temperature before you arrive.
The outer casing stays cool to the touch while the heater is running, and a 60 minute automatic shut off cuts power if the timer is not reset. The stone space is sized to hold enough mass for an even heat, and the heater can be run dry or with water thrown on the stones for steam.
