Description
The Huum Hive Flow Mini LS is an 8.5kW wood-burning sauna stove with a firebox extension, sized for smaller rooms where a full-size stove would put out too much heat. The extension lets you load wood from the adjoining room, keeping the sauna clear of wood and ash.
Heat
The furnace uses the same patent-pending construction as the larger Hive Flow models, moving heat through the stone mass for even output. It holds 231 lb of stones despite its compact size.

Before you buy: what to know
Based on the manufacturer's specs, manuals and our research.
- The Hive Flow Mini LS is 8.5kW for rooms up to 494 cu ft, sized for smaller saunas where a full-size stove would put out too much heat.
- The firebox extension runs through the wall so you load wood from the adjoining room. Plan that wall opening with the next room in mind.
- It holds 231 lb of stones despite its compact size. If you want to load from inside the sauna instead, the Hive Flow Mini adds an ash drawer.
- Clearances and the chimney run come from the Huum installation and user manual. Check local code and your insurer before you build around a wood stove.
