Description
The Kineon RELIEF+ is a manual trigger point massage tool: a four-hump silicone insert that sits in a stable silicone base. You place it under the area you want to work and lean into it, so your own bodyweight sets the pressure. Kineon shows it under the glutes, lower back, hamstrings, calves, quads, shoulders, upper back and feet.
Design and build
The insert is 30A silicone rubber and the base is firmer Shore 60A silicone rubber, with a non-slip, waterproof and sweat proof surface. The insert lifts out, so you can use it in the base for stability or on its own. It packs into the included carrying bag for the gym or travel.
How Kineon suggests using it
Position the tool under a tight spot, apply gentle, steady bodyweight pressure for 30 seconds up to 2 minutes, and breathe slowly. Kineon suggests 3 to 5 sessions a week, and pairing it with a MOVE+ session as part of a recovery routine.
