Description
The Huum CORE BK/ST is the customizable version of the CORE electric sauna heater: it ships with unfinished metal shields so you or your builder can clad it in ceramic tile, stone, glass or wood to match the room. Choose a black (BK) or stainless steel (ST) top trim. It suits custom home saunas of 177 to 566 cubic feet, and this package includes the Huum UKU Local control and stones.
Built to be finished
Huum supplies 4 unfinished metal shields, 4 cover strips and fastening screws, plus finishing instructions in the manual. Huum states each finished side panel should weigh no more than 44.1 lb and the material must suit sauna heat.
Compact and bench friendly
The small footprint and short safety distances allow corner placement or full embedding in a sauna bench, with the stones in direct contact with the stainless steel elements.

What you need to know before buying
- This is a hardwired 240V heater. A licensed electrician must install it and the UKU control per the manual and local code.
- Pick the output by room volume. Add 3.3 cu ft for each sq ft of uninsulated glass, tile, brick or stone wall.
- The CORE needs the UKU control and stones to run; both are part of this package.
- The CORE is fixed to the floor with the included brackets and needs at least an 80 in ceiling.
- The exterior is not finished. Budget for cladding material and labor, and follow Huum's finishing instructions and the 44.1 lb per side panel limit.

Delivery
Large items such as saunas, hot tubs and cold plunge tubs usually ship by freight. The carrier contacts you to schedule delivery. Please check the packaging and note any damage on the delivery receipt before you sign, then tell us within 48 hours so we can resolve it for you.
Before delivery day, measure doorways and hallways along the path to the install spot, and confirm the electrical requirement on the Specifications tab.

- Cladding is not included; tile, stone or wood must be rated for sauna heat.
