Description
The Huum HIVE Heat LS 12 is a 12kW wood-burning sauna stove with a firebox extension, so you load firewood from an adjacent room and keep wood and ash out of the sauna. It suits smaller saunas up to about 459 cu ft. This package includes sauna stones.
Burn
Fresh air is channeled into the fire from above, which the supplier says gives a strong, clean flame and burns the wood completely. The stove complies with the German BImSchV II standard, per the supplier.
Build
The cast iron furnace door is treated with natural oils and is easy to maintain. The stove is made in Estonia.

- The firebox extension passes through the sauna wall, so plan the wall opening, fire-safe wall finish and the room you will load from.
- A wood stove needs a properly installed chimney, the clearances in the Huum manual, and a permit where your local code requires one. Check with your insurer before installing.
- Chimney pipe and floor protection are not included and are sold separately.
- Contact us for the HIVE Heat LS manual dimensions and wall requirements before you frame the opening.
