Description
The Huum HIVE Mini is the smaller version of the round HIVE electric sauna heater, made for home saunas from about 177 to 565 cu ft. It comes in 6, 9 and 10.6kW outputs and is packaged here with the Huum UKU Local control and sauna stones. Its slim, round stainless steel cage can stand in a corner or in the middle of the room.
Heat and stones
Huum rates the HIVE Mini to hold 150 kg (330 lb) of sauna stones in direct contact with the heating elements, for a soft, long-lasting heat. An internal air tunnel is standard on HIVE Mini models from 2025, according to Huum. Adjustable legs help level it on the floor.
Control
The UKU Local control sets temperature, timer and delayed start on site. Huum also offers UKU WiFi for app control, sold separately. The heater is made in Estonia from stainless steel.

What you need to know before buying
- Hardwired 240V heater: a licensed electrician must install it and the controller, with the breaker and wire sizes in the Huum manual (30 A for 6kW, 50 A for 9 and 10.6kW).
- Huum lists a heat-resistant power cable as an additional need; it is not part of this package.
- Keep the safety distances and minimum ceiling height shown in the Huum user manual. Huum strongly recommends a safety railing around the heater (sold separately).
- Check your room volume against the output range before you order; our heater size calculator can help.
- The HIVE Mini can be embedded into a bench with the Huum embedding flange (sold separately); at least 350 mm of the heater must stay above the bench.

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for unused, unopened items in the original packaging, with our written approval first. A 25% restocking fee applies, you pay return shipping, and original shipping is non-refundable. Note any shipping damage on the delivery receipt and send us photos right away.

Delivery
Large items such as saunas, hot tubs and cold plunge tubs usually ship by freight. The carrier contacts you to schedule delivery. Please check the packaging and note any damage on the delivery receipt before you sign, then tell us within 48 hours so we can resolve it for you.
Before delivery day, measure doorways and hallways along the path to the install spot, and confirm the electrical requirement on the Specifications tab.
