The Mr. Steam Linear SteamHead is a patented 16 inch steam outlet that installs flush with the wall and nearly disappears in the grout line. Interior baffles slow and quiet the steam, which leaves a slim horizontal opening as a wide, even ribbon. It includes a designer finish face plate, an AromaTray oil reservoir and a stainless steel diverter, and suits residential Mr. Steam steam showers.

What you need to know before buying

• You also need a Mr. Steam generator and control, sold separately. Mr. Steam warns that using the 104480 with non-Mr. Steam generators or models larger than the MX6 may result in an improper or hazardous installation.
• Max MX4, MX5 and MX6 generators need two 104480 Linear SteamHeads, per Mr. Steam, or one model 104495 (a different part).
• Install upright only, 6 to 12 inches above the floor, or 6 inches above the tub edge in a tub and shower enclosure. It sets flush in the finished wall, so plan it with your plumber and tile setter at rough-in.
• The steamhead, trim and steam emission get very hot. Place it where a bather cannot touch it by accident.

Returns

Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery for unused, uninstalled items in original sealed packaging. Return shipping is paid by the buyer, and a restocking fee of up to 15% may apply (up to 50% if packaging is missing or the seal is broken). Installed items are handled as manufacturer warranty claims.
