Description
The Mr. Steam MSSUPER1R2401 is a 10kW residential steam shower generator from the Super Series, built for 240V single-phase power and rated by Mr. Steam for steam rooms up to 339 cu ft. It suits a larger home steam shower and installs outside the steam room, up to 60 feet away, in a closet, vanity cabinet, heated attic or basement.

What you need to know before buying
- A Mr. Steam control (iSteamX, iTempo, TempoTouch or TempoFlex) and a Mr. Steam steamhead are required and sold separately. Browse steam shower generators.
- Hardwired 240V single-phase power on its own breaker, with a disconnect in sight of the generator, installed by a licensed electrician. Mr. Steam lists 42 A for this model.
- A licensed plumber for the 3/8 in water supply, 3/4 in steam line to the steamhead, safety valve and drain line.
- Size by steam room cubic feet and wall material, per Mr. Steam. Natural stone, marble, glass block or concrete need more steam than ceramic tile on cement board, and acrylic or fiberglass enclosures need the least. The 339 cu ft rating is the adjusted volume after that correction.
- Install indoors in a heated space, never inside the steam room or where water could freeze, and leave service access of 12 in at both ends and above the generator.
- Optional Mr. Steam add-ons include AutoFlush, a drip pan, AromaSteam and the MS Wallseat, sold separately.
Warranty
Mr. Steam limited lifetime warranty on the generator, including 2 years in-home, for residential use.
Returns
Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery for unused, uninstalled items in original sealed packaging. Return shipping is paid by the buyer, and a restocking fee of up to 15% may apply (up to 50% if packaging is missing or the seal is broken). Installed items are handled as manufacturer warranty claims.
