Description
The Penguin Chillers Cold Therapy Chiller is built for cold plunging. It keeps your tub cold without ice runs, with 7,500 BTU/hr of cooling, a built-in pump and quick-connect camlock fittings. Set your temperature and the plunge is ready when you are, from 37°F up to 100°F.
Add the Install & Filter Kit to connect it to most tubs: a washable, reusable 150-micron filter, two 6 ft lengths of 3/4 in black vinyl tubing, two bulkheads with hose clamps, and two barbed elbow fittings. The kit bulkheads fit tub walls 1/4 in thick or less.
Already have a tub? This is the chiller Penguin recommends for an existing tub. It connects with 3/4 in tubing to tubs that have chiller ports, and some tubs need a simple thread adapter. Tell us which tub you have and we will confirm the fittings before your order ships.

- Do not use a filter rated below 50 microns, and do not use an ozone venturi.
- Sun, air temperature and tub insulation affect how cold the water stays.
- For home use; Penguin sells separate commercial models.

Before you buy: what to know
Based on the manufacturer's specs, manuals and our research.
- This is the Penguin chiller built for cold plunging: 7,500 BTU/hr with a built-in pump and 3/4 in camlocks. It runs on a regular 110 to 120V outlet at 3.9A, ideally GFCI protected.
- The pump is not self-priming. Set the chiller within 3 ft of the tub drain with its base level with or below the bottom of the tub, or it will struggle to pull water.
- If you already have a tub, tell us which one before ordering. It connects with 3/4 in tubing to tubs with chiller ports, some need a thread adapter, and the Install & Filter Kit bulkheads fit walls 1/4 in thick or less.
- Do not pair it with a filter rated below 50 microns or an ozone venturi. The optional kit's washable 150-micron filter is sized to suit it.
- It is outdoor rated for air above 32°F and rated at 56 dBA. Sun, air temperature and tub insulation all affect how cold the water stays, so a covered, shaded tub helps.
