Penguin Chillers Barbed Adapter Fitting, Pump or Chiller to Vinyl Tubing

Barbed adapter fittings connect black vinyl tubing to your water pump and to a Penguin standard water chiller. Each fitting is sold individually. A typical pump-to-chiller loop needs three: two for the chiller (inlet and outlet) and one for the pump.

Pick the right fitting

• Chiller (need 2): 1 in MPT x 3/4 in barb for 3/4 in tubing, or 1 in MPT x 1 in barb for 1 in tubing.
• Danner 5 pump (need 1): 1/2 in FPT x 3/4 in barb for 3/4 in tubing, or the 1/2 in x 3/4 in bushing plus 3/4 in FPT x 1 in barb for 1 in tubing.
• Danner 9.5 and 18 pumps (need 1): 3/4 in FPT x 3/4 in barb, or 3/4 in FPT x 1 in barb.
• Danner 24 and 36 pumps (need 1): 1 in FPT x 1 in barb. Penguin does not recommend 3/4 in tubing with these pumps.

Works with: the chiller fittings (1 in MPT) thread into the 1 in female NPT ports on Penguin standard, HE and outdoor water chillers with a PVC shell or titanium coil. Penguin lists 3/4 in connections on its 316 stainless steel versions and 1.5 in slip connections on its commercial chillers, so the chiller fittings do not fit those. The Cold Therapy Chiller uses camlocks and does not need them.

Chillers and accessories arrive by parcel carrier. Complete plunges may need help to move into place, so check the weight on the Specifications tab. Inspect the box when it arrives, note any damage, and tell us within 48 hours so we can resolve it for you; damaged or defective units are repaired or replaced.

Before setup, read the setup notes in the description: chiller placement relative to the tub drain matters for proper operation.

1-year Penguin Chillers manufacturer warranty included.

1-year Penguin Chillers warranty from the ship date, with optional 2- or 3-year extended coverage where offered. If you pair a Penguin chiller with a tub as a set, a photo of the finished setup may be needed to validate warranty coverage, and we will walk you through it. Restore Suite is your first contact for any question.

Returns: request a return within 21 days of delivery; every return needs pre-approval. Approved returns carry a 20% restocking fee, and you pay return shipping. Custom units cannot be returned.
