ThermaSol SignaTouch touchscreen control, HydroVive rainhead and steamhead in matte black

Is ThermaSol a good brand?

For most steam shower and sauna cabin buyers, yes: ThermaSol is a good brand to shop. Its steam generators are made in the USA from stainless steel, they talk to its own touchscreen controls, and the line covers everything from a single generator to a full wellness shower. We have no customer reviews on these products yet, so this verdict rests on the specs.

Restore Suite sells ThermaSol as a retailer, so weigh that as you read. You can browse every model in our ThermaSol collection or go straight to the steam shower generators. Everything below comes from the product pages and spec sheets we hold, not from marketing claims.

What does ThermaSol actually make?

ThermaSol covers three jobs. It makes the steam generator that sits in a closet, niche or attic. It makes the control and shower packages that you touch and see. And it supplies glass sauna cabins fitted with Harvia heaters. Most buyers start with the generator and decide on the rest later.

How good are the steam generators?

Three Pro Series generators cover most homes. All three are listed as made in the USA, with a stainless steel body, Incoloy low-watt-density heating elements and a split tank that separates heating from the water feed to extend the unit's life. All use two-way digital CAN-bus communication with ThermaSol controls.

Generator Output What the listing highlights Price
Pro Series I Essential 11 kW, for 241 to 395 adjusted cubic feet Constant Steam, Fast Start steam in seconds, installs up to 50 ft from the shower $4,399.97
Pro Series II Advanced 8 to 24 kW, six models FastStart, PowerFlush pressurized sediment cleaning, split tank $3,799.97 to $6,999.97
Pro Series III Ultimate 6 to 24 kW, seven models Patented SmartSteam, PowerFlush, pre-plumbed safety relief valve and stainless steel drain pan included $4,499.97 to $8,299.79

Prices change, so confirm them on the product page. The practical difference is steadiness and cleaning. The Pro Series III adds SmartSteam for constant flow and includes a drain pan and relief valve, which can save your plumber parts and time. The Pro Series II adds PowerFlush, which uses pressurized water to clear sediment.

What do you get on the control side?

This is where ThermaSol separates itself from a plain generator. The SignaTouch 5-Inch Wellness Steam Package pairs a 5-inch touchscreen with a HydroVive rainhead (1.8 GPM from 120 jets, 1600-lumen LED lighting in 84 colors, Bluetooth audio) and a SteamVection steamhead. One screen sets steam temperature, session length, shower, light and sound, with saved settings for two users. It starts at $8,999.97 with the 14 inch rainhead.

If you want a smaller step, the ThermaTouch 7-Inch Round Wellness Steam Package is $6,499.97. At the top, the HydroVive Total Wellness Package adds a digital valve, from $11,599.97. Note that the SignaTouch 5-inch package does not list a digital shower valve, so check the package contents against your plumbing plan.

What about the sauna cabins?

ThermaSol also lists indoor and outdoor glass cabins, and the ones we carry use Harvia electric heaters with a Wi-Fi control. The Aalto is a 3 to 4 person indoor cabin at $23,455 with semi-panoramic glass and a Harvia Virta 9 kW heater. Outdoors, our ThermaSol outdoor sauna cabin comparison lines up five 3 to 4 person models. These are made to order, and made-to-order items are not returnable once ordered, so measure first.

What are the honest downsides?

  • Price. This is premium equipment. A generator plus a SignaTouch package can reach five figures before plumbing and tile work.
  • It is a system. The controls and generator are meant to work together. Mixing in another maker's parts means checking compatibility yourself.
  • Sizing is on you. A generator that is too small struggles, and one that is too large wastes money. The listings size by room volume, so send us your shower dimensions or use our steam generator size calculator.
  • Installation needs trades. Plan for a qualified plumber and electrician, and a steam-tight room. Our steam shower installation guide walks through it.
  • No review history here yet. We cannot point to owner reviews on our own store yet, so ask us anything before you order.

How does it compare with a cheaper route?

If you are still deciding whether to convert a shower at all, start with our breakdown of what it costs to make your shower a steam shower. ThermaSol makes the most sense when you want a permanent, built-in setup with a polished control and you are willing to pay for it.

What should you check before you order?

Run through four things first. Measure the steam room and convert it to adjusted cubic feet, because the generator is rated by volume. Decide where the generator will live, since the Pro Series I listing allows up to 50 feet from the shower. Confirm your electrical supply with an electrician, because larger outputs draw real power. Finally, pick the control and finish together, since the SignaTouch package comes in 15 finishes and two rainhead sizes. A few minutes on these saves a costly reorder later. If anything is unclear, send us your dimensions and photos of the space and we will help you check the fit.

Who should buy ThermaSol, and who should not?

It suits homeowners building or remodeling a bathroom who want US-made equipment, a clean touchscreen experience and a full range to grow into. It is a weaker fit if you want the lowest possible price, a portable unit, or a generator you will install without a professional.

Steam and sauna use are for general relaxation and wellness. If you are pregnant, have a heart condition or low blood pressure, talk with your doctor before use.

Frequently asked questions

Which ThermaSol generator should I buy?
